Growing private aviation tourism to Dominican Republic – Airventure2014


OSHKOSH, Wisconsin 2014, Secretary of State, Executive Director of the Airport Department Fernandez Zucco,  highlighted the sustained growth of trade, tourism and aviation  businesses that prefer to Dominican Republic as a destination, according to  official reports disclosed in this North American city, in EAA AirVenture 2014 opening.

positioning ourselves solidly in second place in the Caribbean  for business aviation tourist looking to enjoy the benefits of
our land and implement business and investment opportunities. ”

The joint effort, led and coordinated by the Airports Department  was created at the beginning of managing Fernandez Zucco, in 2009,  tourism generating extraordinary results guzzling. the goals  achieved is the result of the synergy between the Ministry of Tourism,  Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation and Airports Department,  which coordinates the working alliance, with the effective
and meaningful participation of companies operating airports International Punta Cana, Santiago, La Romana and those
concession to AERODOM and the Civil Aviation Board.
