SANTO DOMINGO.- For the fifth consecutive year, the Executive Director of the Airport Department, Lic. Marino A. Collante Gómez, presented the Management Report corresponding to the period October 2018-2019, in which he collects in a broad way, the main actions carried out by its administration in this last year.

Together with the members of the Airport Commission, sector authorities, officials, special guests and servers of the institution, Collante Gómez expressed the satisfaction he feels when he is accountable to the country, about the work done in front of the official institution, which is going according to the guidelines of the constitutional president of the Republic, Mr. Danilo Medina Sánchez.

In the event, the new institutional image of the Airport Department was presented, an action that is conceived as a valuable resource to transmit the entity’s work dynamics.

The new graphic brand of the Airport Department is an imagologist, which seeks to reflect in a simple way, through the treatment of forms and connotation, the main values of the institution, making the analogy between a bird that reaches the nest and the user that arrives at an airport point, where it feels safe and welcome

A bird was selected; specifically a Cigua Palmera, to visually represent that the institution has the desire to express its commitment to the environment and the identity of the national bird.
The graphic elements, the color palette and typography respond to the need to give the new image a fresh and modern character, while maintaining its institutionality.

Marino Collante reported that as he had predicted during the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Airport Department in November 2018, this 2019 would be a year of great progress for the National Airport System.
