Atlantida Punta Cana Sets Off on 400+ Mile Caribbean Voyage to Bring New Saxdor 320 GTO to Cap Cana
Punta Cana charter company owners Captain Anthony Pérez and Annie Bueno will personally navigate their new 2027 Saxdor 320 GTO from Guadeloupe to the Dominican Republic, documenting the Caribbean journey for YouTube, Instagram and other digital platforms.
PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC — Atlantida Punta Cana, a private charter and boating experience company with more than 15 years of operations at Marina Cap Cana, is preparing for one of its most ambitious adventures yet: a journey of more than 400 nautical miles across the Caribbean aboard its new 2027 Saxdor 320 GTO.
The voyage will begin in Guadeloupe and take the vessel through several Caribbean islands before reaching its new home at Marina Cap Cana in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Rather than arranging a conventional yacht delivery, Atlantida Punta Cana owners Captain Anthony Pérez and Annie Bueno will personally undertake the international voyage, turning the delivery into a Caribbean boating expedition and multimedia travel experience.
The new Saxdor 320 GTO will join Atlantida Punta Cana’s fleet and introduce a different style of private boating experience to the waters surrounding Cap Cana and Punta Cana.
A New Saxdor 320 GTO for Punta Cana
The Saxdor 320 GTO is a new-generation sport boat combining contemporary Scandinavian design, performance, technology, open social spaces and onboard comfort.
Atlantida Punta Cana selected and equipped the vessel specifically with the navigation conditions and lifestyle of the Dominican Republic’s eastern coast in mind.
The boat will be used to offer private experiences along the coastline and beaches of the Punta Cana and Cap Cana area, expanding a fleet that already includes catamarans, fishing boats and other recreational vessels.
For Atlantida Punta Cana, the arrival of the Saxdor represents another step in the evolution of a company that has operated from Marina Cap Cana for more than 15 years.
This time, however, the company’s newest boat will arrive in a very different way.
Captain Anthony Pérez and Annie Bueno will take the helm themselves in Guadeloupe and navigate north and west through the Caribbean toward the Dominican Republic.
More Than 400 Miles Across the Caribbean
The expedition is designed to be much more than a boat delivery.
Atlantida Punta Cana plans to transform the journey into a multimedia production centered on boating, Caribbean travel, adventure and lifestyle.
Throughout the voyage, the team will document the different stages of the route, including navigation conditions, marinas, ports, beaches, destinations, local cuisine and the culture of the islands visited along the way.
The content will also provide viewers with a behind-the-scenes look at what is involved in preparing for and completing a long-distance Caribbean voyage aboard a high-performance recreational boat.
Topics documented during the expedition are expected to include route planning, inter-island navigation, fuel and provisioning stops, marina operations, practical boating recommendations and experiences at each destination.
A production team using cameras and drones will accompany the expedition, capturing both the navigation itself and the landscapes encountered throughout the Caribbean.
From Guadeloupe to the Dominican Republic
The planned route begins in Guadeloupe and includes stops through different parts of the Lesser Antilles, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico before the final crossing to the Dominican Republic.
The voyage will offer audiences an opportunity to follow a real Caribbean island-hopping route and see how a recreational vessel moves between some of the region’s most important boating destinations.
The final destination will be Marina Cap Cana, one of the Dominican Republic’s leading recreational boating and sportfishing hubs and the longtime base of Atlantida Punta Cana.
Upon arrival, the 2027 Saxdor 320 GTO will officially become part of the company’s Punta Cana charter fleet.
A Multi-Platform Caribbean Adventure
The entire journey will be documented through long-form episodes, short videos, reels, photography and behind-the-scenes content distributed across several digital platforms.

The objective is to give viewers more than footage of a boat traveling from one island to another. The production aims to allow audiences to experience the voyage alongside its crew and discover the Caribbean mile by mile.
Expanding the Boating Experience in Punta Cana
Punta Cana is internationally recognized primarily for its beaches and resorts, but the region also serves as an important gateway for recreational boating, sportfishing and yacht tourism in the eastern Dominican Republic.
Facilities such as Marina Cap Cana provide access to the Caribbean Sea and nearby destinations while supporting private yachts, charter operations, fishing vessels and visiting boaters.
For Atlantida Punta Cana, bringing the new Saxdor 320 GTO to the Dominican Republic by sea connects those two worlds: the growing boating lifestyle of Punta Cana and the broader network of islands, marinas and destinations that make the Caribbean one of the world’s most distinctive cruising regions.
The upcoming voyage from Guadeloupe to Cap Cana will document that connection firsthand — more than 400 miles of navigation, islands and Caribbean adventure before the Saxdor 320 GTO reaches its new home in Punta Cana.
