The Airport Department installed the Republic Air Force Dominican the perimeter fence of the Dajabón aerodrome, work carried out by the Equipos y Construcciones company Oris Manzueta ECOM, awarded the tender number DA.CCC.CP. 2019-0005.
The security gate raised in block, concrete and cyclonic mesh, has a length of 4,475 linear meters, it complies with regulations established by ICAO to safeguard the safety of users and facilities, and meets all technical requirements for that type of installation in accordance with applicable safety standards.
This work is the result of the fulfillment of a collaboration agreement inter-institutional signing by the then Commander General of the Force Air of the Dominican Republic, Major General Pilot Luis Napoleón
Payán Díaz and Lic. Marino A. Collante Gómez, Executive Director of the Airport Department.
Upon delivery of the work, Marino Collante stated that this infrastructure adds to the list of executions carried out during his administration in the development of the national airport system, in accordance with the mandate of Law No. 8- 1978 that creates the Airport Department and the guidelines ordered by
the President of the Republic, Lic. Danilo Medina Sánchez.
Collante Gómez assured that mutual collaboration constitutes one of the basic principles of public administration and are an effective mechanism to promote dynamic and sustainable development processes that conform to the changes and demands of the time.
In this context, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the State continues with its role to assure the citizens the existence of solid bases to continue with the development of the nation, despite the new challenges that the advance of this disease, which we are sure will overcome its progress and we will resume the course of the nation’s economic growth and stability health of our citizens, said the airport official at
