Its maximum range is 7,930 nautical miles (14,690 km), made possible by higher MTOW and increased fuel capacity. The -300ER can fly approximately 34 percent farther than the -300 with a full load of passengers and cargo. IN MEMORIAM

Franklin Polanco Sr.

The website is dedicated to the memory of Franklin Polanco Sr. My father, pilot, communicator, aviation promoter, mentor, and friend to countless aviators around the world.

Throughout his life, Franklin became one of the Dominican Republic’s strongest advocates for general aviation. Whether helping international pilots plan Caribbean adventures, supporting aviation organizations, mentoring young aviators, or promoting Dominican aviation abroad, he believed aviation was ultimately about people.

His influence reached far beyond the cockpit.

His work earned recognition from the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC), which honored him by naming the main auditorium of the Higher Academy of Aeronautical Sciences (ASCA) after him, recognizing his extraordinary contribution to Dominican aviation.
