Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner in AILA

The Jet AirFly Boeing 787-800 first landed on Sunday at the International Airport Las Americas, José Francisco Peña Gómez (AILA )

Staff from tje Dominican Airports Century XXI ( Aerodom ) Dominican Swissport and other agencies AILA received enthusiastically flight 703 from Brussels International Airport with 208 passengers on board.

The popular Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner from Jetairfly will land every Sunday until March 23, 2014 , the route between Belgium and the Dominican Republic .

Since entering service in June 2013 , the Boeing 787-800 , better known as the Dreamliner , has revolutionized the travel experience for passengers to combine an extraordinary respect for the environment because it uses up to 20% less fuel than aircraft of similar size and passenger comfort , as it has a more comfortable interior to reduce the effects of jet -lag and turbulence , allowing a more relaxed flight .

Throughout his life, Franklin became one of the Dominican Republic’s strongest advocates for general aviation. Whether helping international pilots plan Caribbean adventures, supporting aviation organizations, mentoring young aviators, or promoting Dominican aviation abroad, he believed aviation was ultimately about people.

His influence reached far beyond the cockpit.

His work earned recognition from the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC), which honored him by naming the main auditorium of the Higher Academy of Aeronautical Sciences (ASCA) after him, recognizing his extraordinary contribution to Dominican aviation.
